HELP US TO PRESERVE THE PARK

Visiting regulations

As a protected natural space, the Timanfaya National Park has visiting regulations to ensure the preservation of the natural values and resources that contribute to it becoming a national park. Please remember, therefore, that given the fragility of the volcanic structures and this National Park’s huge ecological value, the following are strictly FORBIDDEN:

  1. Entering and driving on non authorized roads and tracks.
  2. Stopping or parking vehicles outside the designated car parks.
  3. All hunting activities, and the entry of any kind of arms.
  4. The removal of plants, animals or rocks (of any kind or size), or any of their parts.
  5. Professional photography, videoing, filming, TV filming activities, etc. require a special permit, which you can apply for from the National Park’s offices.
  6. The use of music systems at very high volumes or the use of loudspeakers.
  7. Potholing and outdoor sports.
